The 32nd China (Shenzhen) International Gifts and Home Products Fair opened at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao'an District yesterday, presenting a grand year-end assembly of approximately 4,500 exhibitors. The year-end is a peak season for acquiring gifts and planning employee incentives, festive presents, corporate gifts, and promotional merchandise for the coming year.

The fair features eight themed exhibition areas, including a dedicated space for the upcoming Year of the Snake-themed gifts and an "All Things for Gift" area showcasing products with innovative designs and rich cultural value.

"The fair is great. The venues here are easier to navigate," remarked a British attendee named Tim. He explained that he and his companions are attending the concurrent 136th Canton Fair in Guangzhou and decided to explore the Shenzhen gifts fair for a day. The group was especially interested in robot vacuums.

Mike, a buyer from the U.S., was enthusiastic about discovering the latest gift offerings at the fair. "It is an international fair, and I am looking for all the new gifts that I can possibly find here," said Mike, who works for a gift company.

For the exhibitors, this is the prime season to woo a multitude of potential clients and secure more deals.

Majiang Embroidery Artisanship Co. Ltd., a leading domestic designer and distributor of artisanal dolls, has established a booth that is twice the size of its previous display.

"While preserving the embroidery skills of the Miao ethnicity, we also focus intently on market trends and fashionable styles," said Liu Tianyu, the company's general manager. "With competitive prices, our products are popular in the market."

Liu noted that the company now boasts more than 2,000 products across six categories, including fabric toys, apparel, shoes, hats, furniture, and home decor.

Spanning four days, the event covers 260,000 square meters of exhibition space across 13 halls. More than 30 categories of consumer goods are on display, ranging from digital gadgets and home appliances to leather goods, suitcases, cultural and creative items, and food products.
