The Adecco Group, a global leader in talent advisory and solutions based in Zurich, Switzerland, is looking to bolster its presence in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) by establishing a regional headquarters in Shenzhen's Qianhai.
Mayor Qin Weizhong met with Denis Machuel, CEO of the Adecco Group, in Shenzhen yesterday. The two sides exchanged views on the human resources services market and investment environment of the GBA, especially in Shenzhen, and the establishment of the company's GBA headquarters in Qianhai.
Qin extended a warm welcome to Machuel and highlighted Shenzhen's economic and social progress. He said that Shenzhen is committed to fostering an exemplary environment for business growth and offering exceptional services, thereby supporting a mutually beneficial and victorious partnership.
The Adecco Group, acclaimed globally for its expertise in human resources, was encouraged to leverage its professional strengths to further expand its operations in Shenzhen.
"We anticipate the introduction of cutting-edge human resources services and top-tier international innovation resources," Qin said.
According to Machuel, there is an aspiration to integrate Adecco's advantages with Shenzhen's geographical and innovative strengths. The aim is to enhance the recruitment of global talent, broaden business horizons in Shenzhen, and proactively contribute to the high-quality advancement of the city's human resources services sector.
"Shenzhen stands out as a remarkable, modern international metropolis that boasts an exceptionally favorable ecosystem for talent development," Machuel said.
The Adecco Group has partnered with China's leading HR solutions provider, Beijing Foreign Enterprise Human Resources Service (FESCO), since 2010, forming the highly successful Sino-Swiss joint venture FESCO Adecco. This partnership operates in various Chinese provinces and cities, including Shenzhen.
FESCO Adecco Shenzhen caters to nearly 2,500 clients and generates an impressive annual turnover of over 4 billion yuan (US$551 million), according to statistics. In 2021, the Adecco Group and FESCO further expanded their collaboration by establishing LHH FESCO, a second joint venture.
